Autel AP2500E Review on 2017 Honda CRV
I was a tech at a dealer for a short period of time so my review is based off a comparison of this unit and others I've used in the past.I tested the Autel AP2500E scanner on my 2017 Honda CRV. Install was as easy as plugging it into my OBD2 port and registering the device on my Android phone. My phone immediately recognized the scanner and the unit completed 2 updates before I was able to do my first scan.My vehicle currently doesn't have any dtc's or check engine light so I wasn't able to pull any fault codes which is a good thing.The scanner has many useful features like live data which shows you the information the sensors in your vehicle are reading as you drive. This information is useful because it can alert you as to whether there's issues with your car that may not registered yet as a dtc.There's even a useful light introduction section that shows you what the lights on your dash mean in case you have one lit up.There's also a useful emmisons test...
