Autel AP200 Review on Dodge Caravan Grand
I bought the Autel AP200 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner, I'm glad!
The manufacturer promises that Autel AP200 is capable of identifying DTCs for "Check Engine" from control units since 1996 of domestic and foreign cars.
The AP200 has the functions of oil reset, battery registration and reset, parking brake part release and diesel particulate filter regeneration. Of course, it turns off the MIL engine warning lamp and resets service intervals and control counters, similar to those used at service stations for diagnosing cars and other motorized equipment, and the main functionality is similar to the Launch adapters.
You need this to update the software and work the downloaded software, to check the systems with an adapter via Bluetooth or using a Wi-fi connection.
In general, for a while AUTEL AP200 became a lightweight alternative to the more expensive Launch, which I once did not buy, as long as there was an opportunity to do it economically ... they will completely cover it to the end, and as long as there are still the necessary versions of the adapter from the sellers - not higher than the "extreme" 1.03, which is classified as a "breaking" cracked adapter because with it there is an opportunity to supply software for > 130 brands of cars and use without the Network for life already! Check: How to activate Autel AP200 to full brands?
Well, the necessary thing with the correct firmware is still available in some places for sale.
Compatible with all vehicles from 1996 with OBD II interface for adapter connection. Connect via Bluetooth with a smartphone or tablet, for me it's better for Android than an apple on applications. Because there are no problems with a third-party repository slut and there is no need for jailbreaks.
Of course, the scanner is more modest for Dodge than for some others. In that version, I installed a portable assembly with offline bases on the device directly without the Network, diagnostics and error reset are available. He reads a lot of modules, cushions, doors, body and other things he sees. There is Chrysler / Jeep / Dodge software, you can simply watch everything using the EOBD - diagnostic version.
I have the functionality I need , and so - we recently connected the Audi A8, 2005 - so there is much more of everything for pampering, so along the way there are just Americans in the sawn version provide.
There are wheels-pressure sensors, all sorts of corner drops, service options, well, the software weighs a couple of gigs on Audi - against 214 MB like, which for the entire model range is almost necessary for the work of Chryslero-Gypo-Plymutos - Dodge machines are laid. A solid difference, the expected increase in capabilities due to the weight of the software!

On what use software:
- Xiaomi 5A
- 2 gb the RAM
- 16 gb internal memory
- Android MIUI shell 9 (latest available version for him 11. .xxx something there, fly - fire!)
All necessary costs on card, at startup if you need a different brand - instantly when pressed, it merges into the phone's memory, since there is not enough space to store everything in the internal memory. It takes on the card ± 13-14 Gb, or so, something like ... ± 150 stamps worth the uploaded one. In general, good!
